WELCOME
Welcome to our community! We are a diverse group of people from East Africa, united by our Swahili language and Islamic faith. We invite you to join us and connect with our vibrant community here in Queensland.

About Us
The African Diversity Association of Queensland (ADAQ) is a vibrant community rooted in the shared heritage of people from the East African region. Our association is a home away from home, bringing together individuals and families who have a common bond through our shared language and faith.
Our community is united by the Swahili language, a powerful tool that connects us across different backgrounds and cultures. We are also brought together by our shared Islamic faith, which serves as a guiding principle in our lives and a foundation for our community values.
Located at 1B 958 Kingston Road, Waterford West, QLD 4133, ADAQ is a place for connection, support, and cultural celebration. We strive to create a welcoming environment where our members can preserve and share their traditions while actively participating in the wider Queensland community.
Our Mission
The African Diversity Association of Queensland (ADAQ) is a dedicated Islamic organization that champions the Swahili-speaking Muslim community in Queensland, Australia. We focus on preserving our rich cultural heritage, enhancing welfare, and fostering a supportive environment for new immigrants. Our initiatives aim to create a welcoming community that nurtures bonds among members. We also provide valuable resources, share religious guidance, and promote events that unite our community. Through active engagement and collaboration, we strive to ensure that every member feels valued, supported, and connected.
